COUNSELLING & PSYCHO-THERAPEUTIC SERVICES
Are you looking for a safe and confidential environment to explore the way you’re thinking or feeling?
Counselling can be useful for anyone who wants to explore the way they’re thinking or feeling further, as well as anyone experiencing problems or issues they are keen to resolve.
Counselling and Psycho-Therapeutic Services (C.A.P.T.S) provides a safe and confidential place where you can talk about your issues that are preventing you from functioning the way you think you should.
The first session is the consultation session which usually lasts for 50-60 minutes, where the type of counselling on offer will be explained and information collated to start the therapeutic process either to help you to reconcile your issues or help you to find ways of coping. Don’t worry if you find it difficult to talk about all of your issues during the first session as we will continue to collate information during further sessions, which will last for 50 minutes (minimum 6 sessions).
The type of therapy used will depend on the issues that you are facing and how you would like to address those issues. Together we will decide on a therapy type when we have found out more about you, the way you think and what you are hoping to gain from therapy.
C.A.P.TS also provides couples therapy, telephone therapy, individual and group supervision. All sessions are confidential and tailored to meet your needs and availability.
We are available to take your calls and bookings on Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm. We can also provide counselling and supervision outside of our normal working hours. C.A.P.T.S is a fully registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
Please call or email us for more information or to book a consultation session.

BEREAVEMENT THERAPY
I would like to thank C.A.P.T.S for their kindness, understanding and for providing a counselling service tailored for me. I would especially like to thank my bereavement therapist for his patience, kindness, help and understanding given to me during my sessions with him. I did not know what to expect when first arranging to meet with him but my sessions have provided me with understanding confidence and strength to go forward with my life following the death of my dear mother. The beautiful flowers in our garden reminds me of the beautiful life my mother lived. I would have no hesitation in recommending C.A.P.T.S to any family, friends or colleagues.
