My constant anxious state had led to many physical and psychological problems, including chronic fatigue and paranoia thoughts. I really enjoyed working with my therapist, after every session I would leave feeling up lifted and positive. My therapist provided me with tools to help to deal with my depression and anxiety. I also enjoyed doing the weekly homework, which helped me challenge my negative thoughts and also to keep a diary of my progress.

I found my time with CAPTS really helpful and productive. My therapist was very easy to talk to, patient and happy to talk about whatever I wanted. He offered different perspectives which helped me understand the roots of my eating problem that I was facing. He gave me lots of support and useful suggestions I could use to maintain a healthy weight. I am now having a better relationship with food. I feel more comfortable with the way I look and more confident when I am in public.

I was at the lowest point in my life, hanging by a thread and could see no light at the end of the tunnel. I had issues with my manager at work and my boyfriend, who I thought was unsupportive to what I was experiencing at work. My therapist was very supportive, he helped me to explore what relationship is and expectations within a relationship, and how to compromise and sustain long term relationships.

I would like to thank C.A.P.T.S for their kindness, understanding and for providing a counselling service tailored for me. I would especially like to thank my bereavement therapist for his patience, kindness, help and understanding given to me during my sessions with him. I did not know what to expect when first arranging to meet with him but my sessions have provided me with understanding confidence and strength to go forward with my life following the death of my dear mother. The beautiful flowers in our garden reminds me of the beautiful life my mother lived. I would have no hesitation in recommending C.A.P.T.S to any family, friends or colleagues.
